![]() ![]() What this means is that if Office updates, I am prompted to allow it again literally 10-20 times. The problem is that authorizing the first request does not authorize pending requests. This is all well and good - if it works right. When an application updates, I get a prompt to re-authorize its internet access. Issue #2: repeated "application has changed" notifications Windows 10 notifications should not be used for paranoid mode. I opened a ticket about this critical loss of functionality about a year ago, and was told that due to similar feedback it was sent to the dev team for implementation - but it's still not implemented. If you know anything about security, you should understand that a notification of "chrome.exe is attempting to access the internet" is very different from "C:\windows\fonts\chrome.exe is attempting to access the internet." These notifications omit details that I would normally take into account when deciding if I want to approve or deny the request. ![]() When BD Internet Security 2017 was released, the firewall "paranoid mode" notifications were changed from the useful notifications of the past to Windows 10 notifications, which removed the path of the executable. In case you guys actually do value user feedback, I'll share why I have lost faith in your firewall and am losing it in your ability to write reliable software. ![]()
